You obviously want to cook your meat and/or fish in the perfect ways, so a properly functioning thermometer comes in handy. It sometimes happens that condensation forms in the thermometer, especially in cold and/or humid weather in autumn. The thermometer in the dome is not completely waterproof. Fortunately, this is not a problem and, for the most part, easy to fix in most cases. We can offer a few tips:
- Simply get going. Chances are that by firing up the BBQ, the condensation will disappear on its own. After a number of uses, it tends to diminish.
- Put the kamado in the sun for a while.
- Remove the thermometer from the kamado and put it in the oven at no more than 100ÂșC for a while.
- Place the thermometer in a bowl of rice.
